How we know why a review was removed
- We analyze removed reviews across the whole App Store and the patterns they share.
- Each removed review is checked against those patterns, like the reviewing store closing, leaving Shopify, or its billing stopping.
- When a review matches a pattern, we show it as the likely reason, with the numbers behind it.
- When a removed review matches no known pattern, that is the signal: it probably should not have been removed. We flag it as worth appealing.
